Cobalto Calcite Specimens can have associations of Malachite or other commonly occurring Copper based minerals but not in all instances. Generally speaking, the color intensity, extent of crystalline exposure and size of the individual crystals determine the grading and ultimately the price. Material ranges from pale pink non gemmy specimens, all the way to highly optic deep pink gemmy material which is exceptionally rare.  There is malahite inclusions on this specimen.
